Safety is a Right. Empowerment is a Choice.

We are building a society where women don't just survive—they thrive.

At Sewa-Disha Foundation, we believe that true safety goes beyond just walls and locks; it comes from confidence, knowledge, and community support. Our "Women Safety & Empowerment" initiative is not about teaching women to live in fear, but equipping them with the tools to live with freedom. From physical self-defense training to legal literacy workshops, we provide a holistic support system that ensures every woman knows she is never alone.

A Holistic Approach to Safety

Bridging the gap between vulnerability and strength through four key pillars.

We work to protect and restore the natural environment. is added.

  • Physical Resilience We conduct "Street Smart" self-defense workshops in schools and offices, teaching practical techniques to neutralize threats and escape dangerous situations effectively.

  • Legal Literacy Knowledge is the strongest shield. We educate women on their fundamental rights—from filing a Zero FIR to understanding workplace harassment laws.

  • Mental Wellness & Counseling Trauma often leaves invisible scars. Our confidential counseling services provide a safe haven for survivors of domestic violence and harassment to heal and rebuild their lives.

  • Digital Safety In an increasingly digital world, we teach women how to secure their online presence, recognize cyber-stalking, and report digital crimes without hesitation.

Beyond the Rescue: The Path to Recovery

We walk the long road with you, from trauma to triumph.

Rescue is just the first step. At Sewa-Disha, we provide comprehensive rehabilitation for survivors of violence. We believe that a survivor should not just "move on" but "move up.

  • Medical AidImmediate and long-term medical assistance for victims of physical abuse.

  • Short-Stay ShelterA safe, secret, and homely environment for women who need to escape abusive households immediately.

You don't need a uniform to be a protector.

We are looking for dedicated volunteers to be the eyes and ears of the community.

Frequently Asked Question ?

At Sewa-Disha Foundation, we believe that trust is built on open communication. Whether you are planning to donate, eager to volunteer, or simply curious about our mission, we want you to have complete clarity. We have compiled a list of the most common questions from our community to help you understand how your contribution—be it time or money—creates a real difference.

Yes. You can use our "Silent Whistle" feature on the contact page to report an incident in your neighborhood without revealing your name.

Please prioritize your physical safety immediately. If you are in imminent danger, dial 100 (Police) or 1091 (Women's Helpline) first.

Absolutely. Domestic violence is not just physical hitting. Under the PWDVA Act 2005, emotional abuse, verbal insults, economic restriction (not giving you money), and sexual coercion are all crimes. You have every right to seek help, and we will support you in proving your case.

Yes. Workplace harassment is covered under the PoSH Act. Your company is legally required to have an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC). We can guide you on how to file a formal complaint confidentially without jeopardizing your career

Definitely. We believe men are crucial allies in ending violence. While certain roles (like counseling abuse survivors) are reserved for female volunteers to ensure the victim's comfort, male volunteers play a huge role in our "Safe Zone" audits, community sensitization drives, and logistics support.

Reliability is key. When you donate to the "Women Empowerment Fund," your money goes directly to:
  • Legal Fees: Court stamps and documentation for survivors.
  • Shelter Costs: Rent and food for women escaping abusive homes.
  • Training Gear: Equipment for our self-defense workshops. We provide a transparent annual breakdown of these expenses.
Every form of support matters.
